HAZRAT KHWAJA MUHAMMAD JALALUDDIN
(RADI ALLAHU ANHU)

HAZRAT KHWAAJA JALAALUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) was born in Panipat in a very wealthy and distinguished family who were direct descendents of the THIRD CALIPH OF ISLAM - HAZRAT USMAN GHANI ( radi Allahu anhu ).When he was born he was given the name MUHMAMMED ; JALAALLUDDEEN was the name given to him by his PIR-O-MURSHID - HAZRAT KHWAAJA SHAMSUDDEEN TURK PANIPATI ( radi Allahu anhu ).He became very famous in his youth , he never played with any children his age and often went into nearby jungles to make IBAADAT of his CREATOR.

Once HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) was riding past a gathering in which HAZRAT BU-ALI SHAH QALANDAR ( radi Allahu anhu ) was seated. When HAZRAT BU-ALI SHAH QALANDAR ( radi Allahu anhu ) saw him he said "What a fortunate rider and a fortunate horse" When HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu) heard this he was overcome by a state of ecstasy. Immediately he descended from his horse and ran into the jungles in this state of Wajd. When he regained consciousness he presented himself in the presence of HAZRAT BU-ALI SHAH QALANDAR ( radi Allahu anhu ) with the intention of becoming his mureed. Upon which HAZRAT BU-ALI SHAH QALANDAR ( radi Allahu anhu ) told him that he should wait for a short while because his PIR-O-MURSHID is still to come.

Once after HAZRAT KHWAAJA SHAMSUDDEEN TURK PANIPATI ( radi Allahu anhu ) had settled in Panipat, he was standing at the door of his Hujra when HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) rode past .Pointing towards HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) HAZRAT KHWAAJA SHAMSUDDEEN TURK PANIPATI ( radi Allahu anhu ) told the people who were present with him that "I see my spirituality shining in the forehead of that person ."After HAZRAT KHWAAJA SHAMSUDDEEN TURK PANIPATI ( radi Allahu anhu ) focused his spiritual attention on JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) he immediately descended from his horse and placed his head at the feet of the Great Sabiree Master HAZRAT KHWAAJA SHAMSUDDEEN TURK PANIPATI ( radi Allahu anhu ).

HAZRAT KHWAAJA SHAMSUDDEEN TURK PANIPATI ( radi Allahu anhu ) accepted HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) as his mureed and bestowed upon him a Khirqa. HAZRAT KHWAAJA SHAMSUDDEEN TURK PANIPATI ( radi Allahu anhu ) then told him that he has bestowed upon him the blessings of both the worlds. HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) underwent many strenuous mujahedas including the HABSE KABEER which was a six month spiritual training in the grave under the spiritual guidance of his PIR-O-MURSHID. He served his MURSHID dutifully until his MURSHID passed away. After completing his HABSE KABEER, HAZRAT KHWAAJA SHAMSUDDEEN TURK PANIPATI ( radi Allahu anhu ) bestowed upon him the KHILAAFAT and made him his SAJJADA NASHEEN OF THE CHISTIA SABIRIA SILSILA.

After the passing away of his MURSHID, HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) conducted the mission of the KHWAAJA-E-GAAN from Panipat. Here many people became his mureeds and many accepted Islam at his hands. It is reported that even the MOGUL KING SULTAN FEROZ SHAH used to pay homage to this great SAINT. SULTAN FEROZ SHAH once presented a huge sum of wealth as a gift to HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) following the practice of the Great CHISTI MASTERS, HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) distributed the entire sum of wealth to the poor and destitute.

HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) used to regularly celebrate the URS of the Auliya and was very fond of attending such functions. He also enjoyed the listening of SAMA (Qawaali). It is stated that during his latter years of his life, his state of ISTIGRAAQ during namaaz was to such a degree that the words HAQ,HAQ,HAQ, had to be recited loudly in his ear for him to regain his normal state to complete his Salaah. The state of ISTIGRAAQ is a state in which a Sufi is submerged in the remembrance of his Creator that he forgets himself and his surroundings. He is freed from the of time and space to the extentto which ALLAH wills and his state may go on for days. It is said among the Great MASHAAIKH that the Spiritual wealth of HAZRAT MAKDOOM SAABIR PAAK KALYARI ( radi Allahu Anhu ) was handed to HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ).

One day HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) was passing a seashore when he saw a JOGEE seated there with his eyes closed. As HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) approached him, the JOGEE opened his eyes and handed some stones to him. HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu )took those stones and threw in into the ocean. This act of the KHWAAJA offended the JOGEE. HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) requested to the JOGEE to go into the ocean and pick up the very same stones of his and no other stone. When the JOGEE entered the sea he saw thousands of the same stones, with his limited powers, he located his stones but also picked up another. As soon as he came out HAZRAT KHWAAJA JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) asked him politely as to why he was has hidden another stone with the rest. Feeling ashamed of this act of his he immediately repented and became his mureed.

Another miracle of HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) was that through his spiritual vision he came to know that HAZRAT MAKHDDOM JAHANIA JAHANGAST ( radi Allahu anhu ) was very ill. With his spiritual power he arrived in Delhi to visit him in a split second. Here he found that HAZRAT MAKHDOOM JAHANIA JAHANGAST ( radi Allahu anhu )was on his last moments. HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) made dua for him by which he was cured. He also handed over to the MAKHDOOM a few years from his own lifespan.

Upon the instructions of his MURSHID, HAZRAT KHWAAJA SHAMSUDDEEN TURK PANIPATI (radi Allahu anhu ) HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) got married. He had five sons, and two daughters. Toward the latter years of his life he bestowed KHILAAFAT of the CHISTIA SABIRIA SILSILA to his MUREED HAZRAT SHEIKH ABDE HAQ ( radi Allahu anhu ). HAZRAT JALAALLUDDEEN KABIRUL AULIYA ( radi Allahu anhu ) passed away on the 13^th of RABI-UL-AWWAL 765 A.H at the age of 170 years. He was buried in Panipat where his Mazaar is, where people still receive his spiritual blessings up to this day.
